My boyfriend. I climbed up on top of a train cart and took a picture of him like this. I really love the composition and how the colours work out so nicely.
He's so sexy. My love.

I absolutely adore this. It's so... awesome. It captures not only that desire for solitude, but also that feeling of loneliness and depression. And just... the way the tracks and the rocks and the boy...
I adore it.

Of course, I adore railroad tracks in general, as that is the majority of my journey to school in the morning (and where I go to be alone...), but there is something special about the way this looks. It blends together quite well, and naturally, there is something else that I can't quite put my finger on.

:) Brilliant.

I think what I like about this picture is partly the gravel, the way it turns a different color. it really adds a feeling for me.

I just realized how it turned out so wonderful and it's a complicated thing to explain but really easy to do and I only learned it in my colour photography class two weeks ago from my professor! LOL!
Yeah, the picture's hot. I'm so happy with it. It's my fav thus far, besides the stuff out of the darkroom in my porfolio.

Yeah, those tracks are right across the street from my house... it's a wonderful spot to go whenever I'm feeling down. Next time I go, I wanna take someone along with me to do some model photography. Make it look wierd. :P

Well, my professor taught me that if you expose for the middle gray in a picture, it allows for a better colour saturation. Since all the rocks would be considered a "middle gray" and the picture is full of them, that means I "accidentally" exposed for that kind of light level.

Man, I was lucky. I love that part too, and how my boy stands out so much!
I learned that fact from my colour photography class at NSCAD. :D

I wish you could see my portfolio from my photography classes at NSCAD...
They're unreal. Especially the colour photos.

Railroad tracks are good places to think, and great for pictures. :)
