This one was actually taken this past Sunday evening near my house. I saw the beautiful colours coming, and RAN LIKE FUCK to get to the piers to get the picture.
Goddamn, I ran like there was no tomorrow. Sunsets like this don't last long at all.
There was a guy with his little digi cam there, and he had the fucking nerv to tell me to move out of the way. And I'm like, "What the fuck? I'm a professional photographer, and got here first. You can move yourself and your fucking digi cam which cost 30 bucks, elsewhere. I'm working."
That's what I wanted to say, I just moved out of his way just because I'm like that. But other than that, I kinda thought it'd be mean and disrespectful to say that, due to everyone being equal, and it being the public. So, I'm kinda like, "Meh."
This one I underexposed and everything on purpose. I had fun shooting this one. Then I ran up to the drug store to get the stuff developed. Man, I was so excited.
One of my friends said it looked like one of those inspirational posters, and another said it was a postcard, instantly. But then, another one of my great friends, Drew, said that it was too good to be a post card. He is so funny. I love him, he's wonderful, and always is positive with my stuff.
He's kinda cute too.
I'm extremely proud of this picture... Comments and constructive critisism are greatly appreciated.
I didn't know our city's crappy little waterfront was capable of anything that beautiful. <33
But then again, there is the buskers. A different kind of... 'beauty'. XD <333
Again, what a beautiful piece. Bravo.

It's not emo you freak.
The title came from a song that was apocalyptic, like this picture. D:<
Yeah, underexposure is the only way you can get the diverse colours of the sky.
I learned this the hard way. D:
Cams are getting cheap, really. Especially the film kind. Get film. Digital really sucks, seriously. You'd know what I was talking about if you got a good film camera.

i dont like film. i have no idea why serious photographers use film. ive heard them talk about film was the equivilent of like... 25 megapixels or something. that doesnt matter. i mean... my camera goes up to 3, and i use 1. i dont need anything more than 1 megapixel.
the only thing i want is more control over exposure time, the sensitivity of the light sensors, and focus distnace. to me, convienence of not having to cary around extra film, not needing to develop, and being to instantly look back/delete over pics ive taken, outweighs anything ive heard about film.
i think photographers are just being needlessly stuberon. almost noone needs to be able to expand thier pic to fill a wall.

That's kind of ignorant to be saying that I'm stubborn.
Digital is making too many advancements too fast. It makes the camera you just bought obsolete quite shortly after you bought it. I've seen this happening in camera shops, especially Blacks.
The memory cards are expensive. With digital, it's much easier for the camera to get confused on what it's focusing on. Also, there's too many settings you have to put for the photograph. It's easy to screw something up. Professional photographers also like the fact that film can't get corrupted as easily as film chips can, and there's so much more that makes me want to get away from digital. Also, because I enjoy the feeling of real film. It makes me feel like I've done something a bit more accomplishing if I did a picture well.
People have their opinions. You prefer digital. I prefer film. There are advantages, like being able to see the picture right after you've taken the picture, but the digital cameras don't work the same way that film does. It's too much of a hassle for me to want to deal with. Especially where I don't have to work with clients yet. So, don't go saying I'm "stubborn" when I do have reasons to why I don't want digital yet.

well im kind of an arrogant person
memory cards arnt that expensive. at 1 MP, my card holds like... 300 pics or somehting. it costs less than a hundred or something. but i mean... ive taken 3+ thousand pics on it. havnt had to pay for any devolopment on it either.
the problem with the cam i have is there arnt ENOUGH settings. its not really a pro cam by any means though, its just a recreational photographer's cam.
and ive NEVER had a probelm with my chip getting corrupted. i HAVE had problems with double exposures and stuff. its the same between the two. if you handle them right, then you get no problems. but a chip is smaller.
and i just plain like haveing the feature of veing able to take video. thats nice. or taking long bursts of pics without using up all the film. my camera cant do that, but ive used ones that could.
ah well, horray for being stubberon!
